  1. I’m debating on being an electrician, been working on pools for 10+ years and I can make more being an electricians helper. Even though my job includes plumbing, electrical, and chemicals they only want to pay as much as I can make at chick fil a. Might as well be an electrical helper and work my way up. The only labor jobs that are worth it are welders, plumbers, and electricians. The rest, including regular building maintenance guys, pool guys, and HVAC guys get basically minimum wage these days 🤷‍♂️ and they wonder why they can’t hire workers 🤦‍♂️
