Kevin Goodman is a fire captain who is used to running into dangerous situations. He also thinks students shouldn’t have to be exposed to them, as more kids are plagued with horrific violence in schools. It’s why he came up with Escape Armour, which are bulletproof vests that can easily fit into backpacks. “This is also something that is a realistic threat…and we have to prepare for it,” Goodman tells KPHO.
