Jury reviews video and 911 call from Ahmaud Arbery deliberations

Jurors in the trial of three men charged with killing Ahmaud Arbery began their second day of deliberations Wednesday morning. Roughly 90 minutes into Wednesday’s proceedings, the jury requested to review two video clips, one of them enhanced, from the scene of the February 23, 2020, fatal shooting, as well as the audio of Gregory McMichael’s 911 call that day. They watched each video snippet three times and listened to the 911 audio once before returning to the jury room.

El Salvador plans to build a Bitcoin city at the base of a volcano, with the cryptocurrency used to fund the project, its president has announced.
The city will be circular to represent the shape of a large coin and will be built in the south-eastern region of La Unión, President Nayib Bukele said.
The site would take advantage of the Conchagua volcano’s geothermal energy to power Bitcoin mining, he added. El Salvador recently became the first country to use Bitcoin as legal tender. The move led to large-scale protests over fears the cryptocurrency would bring instability and inflation to the impoverished Latin American country.
